The Red Hen – Industrial Vintage Design Rejuvenates Limerick Pub
A fantastic space on the main street in Limerick, formerly “The Bailey”, a treat of a project to work on. The space stretches to 3 floors with varying levels. The brief was wide open with a goal to attract the “in” crowd. We went for an industrial style mixed with vintage touches and some classical details. We created a blank background canvas by painting everything a beautiful dark grey. The background was then dressed with found objects, eclectic furniture, 2D and 3D graphics, and lots of carnival style lighting. The icing on the cake is a beautiful portrait of Richard (known locally as Dickie) Harris, a Limerick man painted by a local artist and emlazoned with red neon stating his credentials…….. Limerick man, Rugby fan, Actor…
